33 Rebellions Per Minute- Weekly album reviews focusing on obscure records that the reviewer feels should not have been made. Pop, progressive, folk, avant, industrial and anything skewed. The site contains profanity.
Altair 5- Billed as the alternative guide to interesting music by Mark Prendergast. If definitely has an e-zine feel to it. Chatty.
Big Orange Crayon- A zine run by a just-graduated high school kid named Nick. Music reviews (mainly indie pop/rock, random writing and links and so on.
CDReviews.com- well-organized site on independent artists: Friendly, yet opinionated writing style. Sound samples.
Chester- UK indie pop and dance. Not particularly well updated, but generally nice.
Curious Goods- Promises to continue to bring you bad reviews from students, drop-outs, nerds, and those with nothing better to do with their lives.
